Evolution of Human Vs Creation of Man |
Human beings came into existence thousands of years ago. According to archaeologists, the first people came into sight in East Africa, they were halfway between humans and apes. Later, Homo erectus came into being, Homo erectus means 'upright man', a man who can stand upright, but they were still underdeveloped. A quart million years ago a new kind of human being appeared in the world from China to Europe, they were called Homo Sapiens. Homo Sapiens means 'wise man'; they have much bigger brains and were cognizant of how to guard their house from formidable animals. The discovery of fire is predominantly done by these humans, which protects them from animals and gives them warmth on cold nights. They also found a way to disinfect food by roasting it on fire which prevented them from getting tainted by disease. Evolution takes place from year to year and man found different ways to live and invented different auxiliaries which made his life cushy.
According to an Israeli author Yuval Noah Harari, some of our predecessors were Neanderthals, 'Man from Neander Valley', Homo erectus 'Upright man’, Homo Rudolfensis 'Man from Lake Rudolph', Homo ergaster 'Workingman' and eventually our species, Homo Sapiens 'Wise Man' were the different humans around the globe thousands of years ago, but only Homo Sapiens survived in the battle of evolution. Why so? The answers found by archaeologists were the use of language and cooperation. It was the main key because Homo Sapiens evolved around the world, beated all the other human species, and drove them to distinction. This is a political disaster.
There are three important revolutions in the past that changed the course of human history. The Cognitive Revolution: It was the first phase by which the human mind evolved and found a way to survive in apex cold weather with the discovery of fire. They learned how to cook food and protect themselves from the deadly animals with the use of stone-made weapons. The Agricultural Revolution: It was the second phase when humans commenced raising crops by transporting water from rivers by diverse means and found different ways to earn a living by trading wheat, rice, maize, cotton, etc. with other civilizations. The Scientific Revolution: the third phase we are wielding with, the invention of all scientific innovation commenced from this phase, now human mind can innovate new ideas to bring about ease in his life.
We being an Islamic acolyte have a dissenting perception about the aforementioned thought. We know from where our roots disseminate. Islam has told us, that the first human being to emanate on Earth was Hazrat Adam AS, who was being created from a clot of blood and clay. Holy Quran says in Surah Al-Hijr, " 𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘆, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝘂𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲...". The soul was given to his body and the first word that came out of his mouth was Alhamdulillah. But the angel negated the idea of creating humans and complained about the creation of creatures that would cause chaos on Earth. Allah mentioned in the Holy Quran Surah Al Baqarah, "𝗔𝗻𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀, "𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱, 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆." They said, "𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂?" Allah said, "𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱, 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄." This Ayat supports the existence of some prior creatures that were being placed on Earth and they were cruel to each other, angels were complaining about them. Angels are considered sacred beings, how would they come to know about bloodshed and mischief even before the creation of man? According to my opinion, it is possible that they were referring to hominids, who caused cruelty, bloodshed, and destruction on Earth, archaeologist findings have proven the cruel nature of these hominids, who were prior creatures before man.
Don't you think that this verse supports some evolution theories?
After the creation of Hazrat Adam AS, Amma Hawa was also created from one of his ribs, they were set free to move in Heaven and ordered to not eat fruit from one of Heaven's trees, Mentioned in the Holy Quran "𝗢 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺! 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲, 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗲𝗿𝘀." (2:35), later, he ate the fruit in Satan's temptation consequently, he was punished for his disobedience to Allah when they were strictly told to not eat anything from one of Heaven's trees and subsequently, sent to Earth as a punishment. This started the life of man in the Earthly world. Some simple minds can raise this question. What would happen if Hazrat Adam AS didn't eat fruit? What would happen if Satan prostrated Adam? What would have happened if the idea of creating Hazrat Adam would not happen? Would we still exist? Would the world exist? What would happen to us? No doubt, it was bound to happen. Nothing in the world can move an inch without Allah's will. If a magician can make you choose the card of his will, but you still think it’s your will that you have chosen that card, so think Allah doesn't know about the creation of man, what was bound to happen after creating the man and start of life on Earth. Now, I think no doubt will remain in you.
In culminating point, I would like to say
Allah created Adam in 40 Days of rain, of which 39 days were sadness and one
day was happiness, that is why humans will find more despair in life than joy.
As said by Rocky Balboa "Nothing is going to hit as hard as life."
Life itself is the name of suffering. Everyone has his cluster of difficulties,
he goes through at different ages of life, but the great almighty gives man the
courage to deal with all this arduousness. Stand firm and be patient, Allah
will give you the fruit of your endeavours.
